Landscaping Questionnaire Considerations

This page is included to help you formulate an approximate budget for your project.  The worksheet will  define the project parameters and provide us a better understanding of your goals and objectives.

Patios, Walks or Driveways.  It is important to know the total area in square feet to get an accurate estimate.  Remember: Area length x Area width = total area in square feet.           Concrete costs: $7.00-$10.00/sq. ft.       Stamped concrete costs: $9.00-$11.00/sq. ft.  Cut stone costs: $14.00-$16.00/sq. ft.

Decks, Arbors, Fences and Gazebo's: $2,500.00 and up.  These costs are going to be influenced by the wood used, the size of the project and the detailing involved.

Swimming Pool: $20,000.00 for an in-ground pool with a liner, $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 for an in-ground pool constructed of gunite.

Hot tubs and spas: $4,000.00 - $15,000.00.  Influencing costs here are the type, size, and the optional features built into the unit.  Other variables include the construction of a foundation, electrical service to the spa and what kind of deck is built around the hot tub.

Automated Irrigation Systems: $4,000.00 and up.  The cost is going to be in influenced by the number of sprinkler heads, valves, amount of pipe, wire and the size of the controller need to operate everything.

Natural Water Garden: $4,000.00 - $7,000.00 for a small pond (6'x8'), $7,000.00 - $15,000.00 for a medium sized pond (8'x11') and $15,000.00 and up for a large pond (11'x16').

Garden Lighting: $1,000.00 and up.  Costs will be influenced by the: types and number of fixtures, transformers and the amount of wire needed for the job.

Stone Retaining Walls: $1,000.00 and up.  Influencing the cost will be the dimensions of the wall (length, width and height), the foundation material and the type of stone used.

Custom Iron Fencing: $1,000.00 and up.  Costs here can be affected by the overall dimensions, the ornamental features used and what types of columns are used.

Drainage Improvements and Creek Beds: $1,000.00 and up. This cost is going to reflect the amount of pipe and parts needed and the amount of trenching involved.  Creek bed costs are going to be influenced by the amount of grading considered necessary and the amount of rock required.
